Fairburn, GA – Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-85 Near Senoia Rd Leads to Injuries

Fairburn, GA (December 7, 2021) – At 8:18 a.m. on the morning of Tuesday, December 7, a multi-vehicle crash with injuries occurred in Fairburn.

According to Fulton County officials, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of I-85 around the area of exit 61, Senoia Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The injured victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.

Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked in the area for some time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.

No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
