Augusta, GA – Two-Vehicle Crash at 10th St & Greene St Intersection
Augusta, GA (October 3, 2021) – At 7:57 p.m. on the evening of Friday, October 1, a two-vehicle crash with injuries occurred in Augusta.
According to the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened at the intersection of 10th Street and Greene Street. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, colliding with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured as a result of the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment, though their conditions are not known at this time.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for a period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
