Atlanta, GA – Two-Vehicle Crash on I-20 Near I-285 Leads to Injuries
Atlanta, GA (October 1, 2021) – At 5 a.m. on the morning of Friday, October 1, a two-vehicle crash occurred on a major highway in Atlanta.
According to DeKalb County Police, the accident happened in the westbound lanes of I-20 around the area of I-285. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not yet known. This caused one of the vehicles to spin around, causing extensive damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured in the accident. The injured parties, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment.
The roadway was blocked in several lanes for an extended period of time. Police worked quickly to clear the scene.
