Atlanta, GA – Multi-Vehicle Collision on I-75 Near Williams St

Atlanta, GA (September 9, 2021) – At 5 a.m. on the morning of Thursday, September 9, a multi-vehicle collision occurred in Atlanta.

According to police, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of I-75 around the area of exit 249, Williams Street. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not yet known.

All lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for an extended period of time. This led to delays until police cleared the scene.
