Atlanta, GA – Car Accident on I-75 Near Howell Mill Rd Leads to Injuries
Atlanta, GA (December 11, 2021) – At 5:44 p.m. on the evening of Saturday, December 11, a car accident with injuries occurred in Atlanta.
According to Fulton County officials, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of I-75 around the area of exit 252, Howell Mill Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, forcefully colliding with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured as a result of the accident. The injured parties were hospitalized, though their conditions are not yet known.
Due to the severity of the accident, a large portion of the roadway was blocked for an extended period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
No further details have been released. The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
